The week of May 23-25 is loaded for Abitibi’s geologists, with the venue of the Technological Forum and Explo-Abitibi. The Forum, organized jointly by Consorem and Divex on May 23, is the annual occasion for Abitibi geologist to update their knowhow and get informed of the new developments in exploration techniques. IOS will be there to present its latest exploration geochemistry techniques developed to perform in fens and bogs of the Northern Abitibi clay belt. This technique, innovative by its sampling protocol as well as its interpretation method involving Bayesian logic and artificial intelligence, is efficient at deciphering the complex footprint or mineralization buried under 50 metres of impermeable clays. On Wednesday, May 24, IOS will welcome you at the Explo-Abitibi.
