From March 22 to 24, UQAC will host the 2017 annual Earth Science Carrefour. This event, organized by the graduate students in Earth Science, includes the 22nd annual RÉDiST symposium, the 6th Regional Mining Forum, a short course organized by the local SEG chapter, the annual CONSOREM meeting, the ICM Wine and Cheese, and many others.
This year’s theme focuses on Big Data and Artificial Intelligence in mineral exploration, in cascade with “Gold Rush” and “Disrupt Mining” contests. As Honorary Chairman, I personally invite you to come and be accustomed with these disruptive technologies which may change the face of mineral exploration.
